Gaoler’s Daughter have been firmly on the MM radar since the release of Nine Pieces of Silk back in 2010, but it has been well over a year since we’ve had anything new from them. So, a pleasure indeed to discover they have released a new EP on Bandcamp both as a physical CD and a digital download (even though it gives a release date of August 2012 – surely we’re not that late?), as well as giving away a free download of a track called Magazines for last Valentine’s Day!

Both are another fine examples of their new wave tinged, melancholic indie rock and certainly whets the appetite for forthcoming fan-funded debut album How To Make Time, out on the 26th August.
