New Single From The Dirty Nil

New From The Dirty Nil

We’ve long championed the raucous, incendiary garage-punk of the Dirty Nil and it is good to see them back with a new single on Dine Alone Records and with plans for a debut album early next year.

Out on the 6th November, the single, No Weaknesses backed with Provisional, features the double edge sword of breakneck violent fuzz and pure anthemic catharsis; a combination of unhinged punk rock noise and stick-in-your-head pop melodies. The b-side takes a classic Fugazi cut and amplifies the blistering rage.

Having already posted Cinnamon, the lead track from the Dirty Nil’s latest single, we now have the B side for your aural delight. Check out the equally raw and bruising Guided By Vices.

Visit their Bandcamp page here, or order the vinyl from Fat Wreck Records here.

The Dirty Nil are back with another cracking single of noisy, feral garage punk.

Cinnamon b/w Guided by Vices is out August 19th on Fat Wreck Chords. Check out two pummelling minutes of the lead track below.

New EP From The Dirty Nil

As we’re away for a few days we have scheduled a few posts to highlight some excellent stuff that has come our way, but which we haven’t had the time to do justice too in words!

The Dirty Nil’s particular brand of feral, sordid, drunken, and distorted rock’n’roll focuses on the important things in life: booze, dope, girls, and parties. Safe to say, it has endeared the Canadian three-piece greatly to MM and ensured they have featured pretty regularly on the blog.

Their latest EP Smite will be released on the 18th February, and we thoroughly recommend you check out lead track Wrestle Yü To Hüsker Dü and give yourself an adrenaline fuelled shot of pure sleaze…
