At the tail end of last year we shared Drahla’s excellent track Silk Spirit, and now the Leeds three-piece have signed with Brooklyn’s wonderful Captured Tracks label and are back with a new single, Twelve Divisions Of The Day.

It is another naggingly insistent tune blending the band’s wiry art-rock with krautrock inspired experimentalism, all underpinned by singer/guitarist Luciel Brown’s captivating spoken drawl.

We’re late to it, but we’re loving this track, Silk Spirit, from Leeds three-piece Drahla.

It comes from their debut EP Third Article and blends wiry post-punk with splash of unpredictable art rock, and is anchored by a woozy, nagging riff that is a sonic delight.

Stream it below and order the EP via Bandcamp here.
