With their imminent second album Mythologies due on 30th October, Cheatahs have announced a new single Signs To Lorelei through Wichita Recordings.

An early highlight of the album, the single is reminiscent of a 70s Sci-Fi soundtrack, easing into view before evolving into a glorious, cascading swathe of sonic beauty.

Cheetahs Announce New Album

Cheatahs have announced news of their second album Mythologies, due for release through Wichita Recordings on October 30th. The title takes its name from Roland Barthes’ 1957 collection of essays on semiotics and myth, which influenced the record.

Listen to Seven Sisters an appropriately seismic and glistening excursion into their world of shimmering, hazy rock’n’roll.

Pre-order here.

Catch them live:

Sat November 21 – BRIGHTON Green Door Store
Tue January 19 – LONDON XOYO

Time for a collection of some of the great videos and songs we’ve had through lately. They range from the Cheatah’s excellent Murasaki video and Heater’s brilliant Mean Green through to the raw, fizzing noise rock of Reporters’ stripped back video by way of the tripped out campfire haze of Zuli’s Better All The Time.
