A couple of years back we waxed lyrical about the drifter rock of San Francisco’s Steakhouse, which somehow managed to merge dusty country inflected Americana with krautrock influences to create something that was as hypnotic as it was eerie.

We’re pleased to report that they have a first “proper” full length album coming out soon, and here are a couple of tracks from it for your listening pleasure: the expressive Downcountry Blues and album closer Sleeper.
