Moon Mirage is the new album from Trans Van Santos, the latest incarnation of acid gospel visionary Mark Matos and his transcendent tunes. Formerly head of rambling San Francisco psych-folk collective the Family Folk Explosion, psychedelic anti-band Os Beaches, and dusty desert rockers Campo Bravo —Matos has spent decades chasing his muse. Weary eyed and ragged on the old road he had a vision and was thus transfigured, reborn in life and song as Trans Van Santos.

Moon Mirage is set of tunes, dusty crooners and parched, baked ballads, inspired by the sun and sands of the new, weird West and tells the story of this life, all full of light and love and darkness and pain.
