Canadian psych-rockers Pet Sun’s brilliant new EP Shade Driver is a doom laden, stoner garage starter kit fully equipped with some riffs, some poppy goodness, and a bit of doom.

It’s a grab bag of sweets – some more sour than others. From the apocalyptic headbanger Dark Planet written for a stoned Darth Vader to Zenifer, their bite sized good vibes pop track which clashes a bit with the bitter Mrs. Warp, which despite its creepy tones is a love song.
