The Mynabirds debut album What We Lose In The Fire We Gain In The Flood has been picking up a lot of press and decent reviews. One listen to these two advance tracks and it is obvious why. It is an elegant mix of country and soul that singer and songwriter Laura Burhenn delivers with calm restraint and a natural feel for her material – sometimes weary, sometimes languid, but always in total command.
