With their debut album Juices, The Ferocious Few have joyously…well you probably get the picture. Like many before them, this Californian duo have plundered blues, punk, rockabilly, lo-fi et al, and battered it into submitting to their visceral, primeval vision.

But unlike so many others before them, this duo have done it brilliantly. Stomping, fizzing rock with blazing guitar riffs, sneering, brash vocals and pummelling, propulsive drums combined into something that sounds fresh, original and, well, wonderful.
