We Are Country Mice released a couple of 7″ singles last year, one of which, the EP Make Your Own Damn Fun featured one of our top songs of 2009 in the stomping, infectious A Good Old Fashioned Barn Raising.

So we have been waiting eagerly to see what they would be doing next. And now we know – it will be a limited edition cassette called Transmissions and it will be out next month as the debut offering from Train Man Tapes.

For now we have Festival a taster from the tape, and it is more garage goodness, awash with reverb, duelling guitars and a tinge of psychedelia. We’re loving it and looking forward to getting our grubby mitts on the full release as soon as we can.
