A few years ago, MM was lucky enough to spend a fair bit of time in southern Georgia and very enjoyable it was too. So when we got this release all the way from the land of Gram Parsons in the swamps and backwoods of Waycross, Georgia from a band called Hayshaker we were hoping for good things.

The band has recently self-released their sophomore album entitled Tin Roof Snare. It is a most enjoyable listen with vivid lyrics, thoughtfully composed instrumentation, and best of all, the beautiful husband and wife harmony.

Soaked deep in Americana and Roots music, Hayshaker blend their influences into their songwriting similar to the way Parsons did with his own Cosmic American Music. Good things indeed.
