The Black features David Longoria on guitar and vocals (formerly of …And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead), Matt Simon on drums (formerly of Voxtrot), Jason Chronis on bass (formerly of Voxtrot), and Alan Schaefer on guitar (son of famous guitar maker Ed Schaefer).

The material on new album Sun in the Day, Moon at Night is pure rock and roll at heart – a mix of rockabilly, blues, swamp, and folk songs with an awareness of many other styles.

The album is out on the 12th October via the band’s own Moon Records.
