Joyful Noise Recordings dropped us a line to say they are to release Deerhoof’s new album on cassette!

January 25th will see the release of Deerhoof vs.Evil, on cassette. The band recently signed with Polyvinyl, who will be releasing the album on LP and CD.

It is probably true to say that few bands are as organically groundbreaking, experimental and ultimately interesting as this four-piece. For the last 16 years Deerhoof has consistently confounded all expectations placed on them, and if taster track The Merry Barracks is anything to go by, that won’t be changing any time soon.
