Brooklyn’s Poison Tree is a new band led by Steve Salett, the former front man of King Of France together with a seletion of musicians from his Saltlands Music Collective.

They have released a self-titled debut album that is noticeable for its surefooted harmonies, embracing acoustic guitar and warm vocals – a record that doesn’t so much overwhelm as invite the listener in, sits him down and then proceed to delight and engage with a cleverness and a confidence that only comes with experience.

Yes sir, this has all the signs of a grower. Big time.
