While we are still very sad at the demise of Port O’Brien, who are one of our stand out memories from our trip to SxSW in 2009, Van Pierszalowski’s new project Waters is shaping up to be a more than adequate replacement.

We’ve already given you the rousing For The One from new album Out In The Light, and now we have the more delicate and almost hymn-like indie rock of O Holy Break Of Day, which still manages to retain the sparse, raw feel of the first track. Recommended!
