Despite hailing from Worcestershire, a rural heartland of ours, Something Men bring something altogether more grimy and salacious to the party. Effortlessly channeling early Velvets rumble and the simple, but effective chord sequences of the Kingsmen into a classic garage sound that reveals a knack for authentic and high quality songwriting, the band’s debut single straddles the 60s and the modern-day with equal measures of swagger, verve and attitude.

Top notch stuff.
