Last weekend was due to feature the debut UK live performances from Memphis’ Nick Burk, aka Acid Glasses. Unfortunately, due to issues with UK immigration, on arriving at Heathrow Airport things didn’t go to plan. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Acid Glasses dates were cancelled at the last minute.
This new collection of material was set to be brought over on a very limited cassette tape release to accompany his UK dates. The tracks have now been released online via Memphis independent label Sunday Fir under the all-too-appropriate name of Tape, Deported to in some way make up for the disappointment of the cancellations.
Featuring eight brand new recordings, and including single Polnara Setera, the mixtape is available now for free here via Bandcamp. It is released just after the recently put out 7″ single on Stroll On Records, which featured My Pale Garden and JPEG Hoarder.
