She Ripped are a band from Wales who are putting out a single in April.

What that doesn’t tell you is that this single is three tracks of the best nihilistic punk noise we’ve had the pleasure of hearing for a long time. The swaggering, angry vocals, by turns sneered and shouted stay just the right side of ‘screw you‘ without ever tipping over into parody or unintentional comedy.

Lead track Ultra-Social Happy Man is a triumph of amphetamine fuelled drums and needling guitar – close your eyes and it could be 1979 and there’s no work and no hope for anyone…actually no need to close your eyes really is there?
