Two of the latest free NoiseTrade offerings come from Family Of The Year and Shovels & Rope.

Family Of The Year play an upbeat, infectious blend of pop and folk, which has let to support slots with Mumford & Sons and Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeroes amongst others. They are offering up a five track sampler EP of their wares ahead of forthcoming summer release Lama Vista.

Shovels & Rope are a energetic two-piece using old guitars, a handful of harmonicas and a junkyard drum kit to create a righteous racket. Having played with MM faves such as The Felice Brothers, Justin Townes Earle and Jason Isbell last year, they are offering up a ten track sampler from the early days of the band ahead of new album, out on 31st July.
