We’ve already posted the classic country sound of Eight Belles (being Jessi Phillips and a cast of multi-talented supporting players) with the track Buried Child from forthcoming album Girls Underground (which is actually out next Monday).

Now we have a second track, which, if anything is even better, the catchy twang and mountain-stream-clear vocals of Nolchi sounds just like it comes from the heyday of Loretta Lynn or Patsy Cline. If anything, it is an even better example of just how good, and authentic, a country music record this really is (so rare these days) and this track just begs for a ten gallon hat, some spurs, a few tears and a drop of the hard stuff to cry into – marvellous.
