Spiders hail from the ever-fertile indie breeding grounds of Sheffield and their credentials are clearly well up to the mark having being taught music by Alex Turner’s (Arctic Monkeys) dad, and recording their EP at the world famous 2Fly Studios with Alan Smyth (Richard Hawley, Pulp, Reverend and the Makers).
Their debut EP was released at the beginning of this month and we have the video for the rather good (and wonderfully titled) single, Ambitions Of A Huckster’s Daughter (which makes an appearance on the EP) together with a download of the b-side, These Strange Days (which doesn’t).
Well? Who wouldn’t want some anthemic, catchy indie-rock on a nondescript Friday?
