Tyrannosaurus Dead are a lo-fi, fuzzed-up five-piece who have previously put out a four-track Lemonade EP on cassette last August. The band also self-released their debut self-titled three-song EP as a Bandcamp free download in 2011.

New six track EP, Pure // Apart will be out in May, tho’ you can order now from Odd Box Records here. Alternatively, listen to two tracks from the EP below, Soft and Sadie. It is excellent melodic noise-pop that favour tunes over distortion and intelligently mines the classic influences of 90s US slacker rock over pretty much anything else too. Good stuff this.
