As the release of US singer-songwriter Mark Mulcahy’s new album Dear Mark J Mulcahy I Love You looms large on the horizon, he has given us a second track from the album to listen to, and listen to it you should.

Let The Fireflies Fly Away is a definite highlight and a lyrical masterpiece to boot. It is a long time since we’ve heard the word “hullabaloo” crop up in song lyrics, especially when being made by penguins, let alone a hitch-hiking chicken, a donkey in a Chevrolet and a monkey family feud.
