Life is Murder is the first single and title track from Kal Marks’ latest album, which is out on the 17th September via Exploding In Sound, Sophomore Lounge and Midnight Werewolf Records.

Fixtures of the underground Boston scene for a good few years, this is our first introduction to the band and it is a cracker. From the boiling, seething undercurrent of frustration that anchors the song, to the tense, barbed vocals and the full-on guitar freakout and breakdown at the end, this is five and a half minutes of savage, desperate resentment and we love it.
