Back at the turn of the year we included the intimate folk and ambient electronica of Malpas in one of our Round-Up posts. At the time they were promising a whole album of material later in the year and some of that is now imminent.

As a taster they’ve offered up the first single from their new Promise EP, this is the otherworldly and subtly mournful Charlemagne.
