On his new five track EP, Heavy Sunn, Theo Verney practises a kind of gnarled, grizzly mix of garage rock, psychedelia and grunge that more than pays its dues to his heroes Hendrix, Beefheart and Black Sabbath.

Here are two tracks from it, the primal, sullen psych-rock overload of the excellent title track and the ninety second stomp of Count It Up.
