Rhubarb is a superior fruit and unquestionably makes the best crumble filling. Four-piece The Rhubarb Triangle thankfully live up to the quality inherent in the fruit’s name with their original take on indie rock, psychedelia, garage and R&B.
Their self-titled debut three track EP is a most promising mix of 60s Carnaby Street cool, Northern soul style groove and a splash of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop. It is seriously good, and well worth picking up from their Bandcamp here.
Check out excellent lead track Wakefield City Blues and the tribal Bloodhound below.
