We’re loving this cover of Primus’ Wynona’s Big Brown Beaver from band founder Les Claypool’s other band, Les Claypool’s Duo De Twang, it comes from their brand new album Four Foot Shack which was released yesterday in the US and next Monday over here.

The song is radically re-worked, stripped back and as enjoyable as the original, and the rest of the album features rewordings and re-imaginings of Claypool’s solo material as well as another Primus classic Jerry Was A Race Car Driver, and a handful of other covers.
