Following our post on Algernon Doll yesterday, we now have a new track hewn from an equally idiosyncratic and unusual world view – this time of maverick singer-songwriter Benjamin Shaw.

He channels the best of the worlds of those like Syd Barrett, Mathew Sawyer, and Damon Moon with ramshackle psychedelic folk and a healthy splash of darkly black humour into a wonderful new single, Goodbye, Kagoul World (“I haven’t the pollen to say it with flowers”).

It is taken from the album of (almost) the same name, due on Audio Antihero (pre-order here).
