In all honesty the charms and delights of Deerhoof have largely bypassed us here at MM, but you should never say never and their latest album La Isla Bonita contains the stand out track Exit Only which we’ve loved since the first time we heard it.
Now the song has a fittingly insane video starring Michael Shannon of Boardwalk Empire and Man Of Steel fame playing two versions of himself – one seemingly torturing the other across a table. Bonkers, but brilliant.
