The Chemistry Experiment – Gongs Played By Voice

Melding their indie and prog-rock influences with a folkier sensibility, and ten years after they released their debut album The Melancholy Death Of…, The Chemistry Experiment are set to release their follow-up record Gongs Played By Voice via Fortuna POP! in early January.

Containing nine beautifully arranged songs that call to mind the best of Will Oldham, Tindersticks and King Crimson, have a listen to Channel Light Vessel described as being “about the sea, and sailors, and a boy who impaled himself on a fence trying to pick conkers“.
