Alongside longtime collaborator David Bazan, TW Walsh was the only permanent member of Pedro the Lion. He also joined Bazan on his Headphones project and has released solo albums under his own name and The Soft Drugs moniker.

Following 18 months with a mysterious, debilitating illness, and a broken elbow, the good news is that he is back with a new solo release Fruitless Research, which is out next month. The first track from it is the excellent Young Rebels, a propulsive indie rocker that locks into a fabulous groove and simply doesn’t let go.
