Benjamin Shaw originally released his marvellous debut There’s Always Hope, There’s Always Cabernet back in 2011 and now Audio Antihero are offering a completely remastered resissue on a pay what you want deal via Bandcamp.

It includes no less than eleven bonus recordings including unreleased and radio session recordings. All this seemed a perfect excuse to remind ourselves just how good, and unique, these eclectic and eccentric, lo-fi gems really are – a wonderfully skewed mix of acid folk, experimental indie and bedroom pop delivered in little vignettes of off-kilter perfection.
