Introducing >>> Beach

Dublin based five piece Beach are soon to unveil their newest single, the disorientating and edgy post-punk howl ‘n’ growl of Donuts.

Written in a single day, vocalist Dave Barrett, when talking about the meaning behind the lyrics said “They are about a really fucked up outer body experience I had where I transcended into a spiritual dimension. For quite some time I thought I was dead in the physical world.

Influences range from Joy Division to Tame Impala, with the most obvious touchpoint being Irish compatriots Girl Band, but there is enough of a distinctive feel and originality to the single, which hints at a band capable of pushing sonic boundaries while not limiting themselves to any set genre.

Have a listen.
