The single was the first song the band’s co-founders, Genders and Lindsay, wrote for the album and was the initial spark that brought them back together as a band. Marvellous, experimental folkies Tunng have returned with a new song, their first in four long years. Inspired by Edwin Abbott Abbott’s 1884 book of the same name about a two-dimensional world, Flatland is a track wrapped in their trademark sound of experimental electronics and acoustic instrumentation.
