Raised in Brooklyn, NY, Ben de la Cour is an interesting character who has worn many different hats while living in London, Cuba, and Paris before finding his place in New Orleans. A former boxer and frontman in a London-based doom-metal band, Ben eventually gave them up for the simplicity of the bare bones acoustic music he creates.

Ben digitally released his first studio album, Ghost Light, in October, a captivating, stripped-down collection of both old and new, well-crafted acoustic songs with a Townes-like quality.

He would love to see his labour of love made into something tangible and in the hands of an audience so recently launched a Kickstarter project to help cover the cost of pressing his first studio album.
