New Album From Little Wings

Little Wings (aka Kyle Field) most recently reappeared on the MM radar with an exceptional cover of I May Smoke Too Much for the recent Kris Kristofferson tribute album The Risin’ Cost Of Livin’ High and Lovin’ Hard (that we posted about here).

So it was nothing less than serendipitous to discover that on February 5th Little Wings will release a new album, LAST. Recorded over the course of a year and split between recording sessions in Sacramento at the Hangar and at his home studio in Outer Sunset, San Francisco, Field wrote and recorded a Little Wings album that has split personalities, wherein each song has a counterpart of lightness or darkness.

It may or may not be the last we hear from Little Wings, but on the evidence of these first two tracks we sincerely hope not. Watch the video for the brilliantly bleak Doom Room and download the warm sunshine of Sandy Babe below.
