Oh boy, you get exactly what you might expect from a band called Ming City Rockers, and we are mighty glad about it.

Latest single, Chic and the Motherfuckers, was released a few days ago and the bad boy influences from Eddie Cochran to the Stooges run through the heart of it, setting the song and the band apart like a seam of gold in a mine of mediocrity. Three chords are plenty, the percussion spits and snarls, and for just under two and a half minutes you get the visceral, raw thrill (by proxy) of giving the whole world the middle finger.
