Kent, Ohio based indie-folk band The Speedbumps spent six days at a cabin in the woods of Pennsylvania recording their latest album The Harbors We Seek. What the band lost in the isolation of a studio, it gained in the warmth and natural sound of the cabin where they recorded the album.

Tracks on The Harbors We Seek even feature creaking floorboards, birds chirping outside the window and the ‘band dog’ barking in the background. All of it adds to the final mix, which has a unhurried, easygoing flow expertly melding guitar and ukulele riffs with lots of cello to create a warm, organic sound.
