Chicago garage-glam band The Handcuffs have announced the release of their their first-ever cassette on the East Nashville-based Semi-Pro Records on October 17, to commemorate Cassette Store Day.

Inhabiting some of the same musical domain as T-Rex, Spiders from Mars era Bowie, Franz Ferdinand and early Blondie, the tape-only release, All The Way From Chicago, features a “best of” style sampling of songs from their first three albums, plus a never-before released nod to one of their influences, in the shape of Mott The Hoople cover All The Way From Memphis.
