Angharad Drake is a 23 year old singer-songwriter from Brisbane, Australia and has just released her debut album Sword.

It is a real gem of a record. A collection of exquisite folk songs carried along by stunningly sweet and pure vocals. All the usual pitfalls are avoided to provide a mature and compelling collection that fans of Laura Marling or Marika Hackman should love.

And anyone who (a) has a cat called Kathryn and (b) gives her a credit for her help with the album is definitely alright by us!
