Athens PopFest 2010 begins tomorrow in (perhaps unsurprisingly) Athens, Georgia.

Founded by Mike Turner of Happy Happy Birthday to Me Records in 2003, Athens PopFest continues this year with its strongest line-up to date. Featured bands include Mission to Burma, Apples in Stereo, Circulatory System, Go Sailor, The Wedding Present, OH-OK, and many many more.

And to mark the occasion there is a 2010 Athens PopFest Compilation available for free download. In two parts, it features a massive 39 tracks in all, and is well worth having.
