Ex Libras finished off 2010 by taking their EP, Cut(s), on a mini tour of the UK. Since then they have shunned the spotlight, keen to develop their second album due for release later this year. However, they are never ones to stay quiet for too long, the band have decided to punctuate the silence between their last EP and the hotly anticipated album by releasing a new single – Teenage Eyes.
Teenage Eyes follows on from the success of their debut album, Suite(s) and its’ counterpart EP, Cut(s), which saw them re-imagining a selection of tracks from their first release into something new using a haunting, stripped down, acoustic approach. The single is taken from the EP, and opens with a chillingly ominous piano piece, with minimalist drums, throbbing bass guitar and a vocal track that transcends all three.

Sounds like the final credits for a film that does not end happily.
