We’ve long enjoyed LA’s Wounded Lion and their unique yet completely compelling take on classic Garage rock.

In fact it has been more than a year since we posted anything from them, but new track Roman Values from forthcoming album IVXLCDM (released this coming week) proves it has been more than worth the wait. It is two and a half minutes of insane garage punk that is driven along by a heavyweight riff, pulsating percussion and a classic shouted vocal. Think Wall Of Voodoo fronted by Jello Biaffra and you’ll be somewhere in the right ballpark.

The album will be a stormer if this is anything to go by.
