The Thick Shakes do the whole full pelt, jackhammer garage rock thing as well as anyone out there. Melding a 60s psychedelia vibe with a 70s punk attitude and a knowledge and reverence for all things good in the genre, the results are uniformly thrilling and authentic.

Latest release, French Dyppe, A Cassyngle, is now available via a ‘pay what you want deal’ on Bandcamp and as of this weekend, on red tape via Aurora 7 Records. French Dyppe, features two brilliant tracks in Friends Like These, and Jaywalker, as well as a pair of their respective instrumentals.
