At first, the new single, Kahuna, by We The Dead sounds like a very good addition to the canon of distorted, garage inspired rock. Although it kicks off in a traditional manner – as a reverb riddled, fuzzed up gem of driving guitars, it is the nicely judged melodic interludes that effectively change the pace and feel of the track and sets it even further apart from the usual fare.
It is backed with a similarly tasty cut in South/Untold and sees a release via Victoria Warehouse Records.
