Washington DC’s Shark Week’s forthcoming AA-side 7″ is being released by Analog Edition Records on July 30th.

Hearkening back to the glory days of rock ‘n roll, the band distill the raw energy of punk and infuse it with a hip-shaking garage pop sound. Throw in a gravelly baritone, screeching guitar solos, jangly guitar leads, pulsating bass rhythms and pounding drums, and the results are a ramshackle, yet swaggering, joy to the ears.

Named Santurce after the San Juan, Puerto Rico neighborhood in which it was recorded, the two songs on the 7″ mirror the sun-bleached Caribbean beach weekend that gave it life.
