Straw Bear’s album Black Bank (via Oilbug Music) was one of our favourite discoveries of last year, blending the eerie vistas of the Fens with oddball folk and a smattering of pop licks.
Taken from the album, the band’s sparkling new single is Snobbery, it is accompanied by a video shot in the Empire Cinema in London’s Leicester Square showing the band playing while watching a slapstick comedy that echoes the song’s lyrics.
