Memento Mori is the title of a track by Hollow Wood.

At first it sounds like a song very much in the vein of the Lumineers or Shovels & Rope, but as it progresses and the song slows down, it reveals charms and nuances that in turn, grow and swell in synergy with the song’s energetic chants and final coda. There is more than enough going on from this Boise, Idaho band to keep us interested – have a listen.

Nor should the eight minute ambient-tinged folk epic of Little Bird be missed either. Hopefully there will be an album later this year.
