In the same vein as yesterday’s Mark Lanegan post, the wonderful Shearwater return with their own album of covers in October on Sub Pop.

Titled Fellow Travelers it’s composed almost entirely of songs by bands they’ve toured with over the years, re-imagined and renovated.

The first taste is their take on Xiu Xiu’s I Luv The Valley OH!! – have a listen. The album is out on the 26th October.
